Social Media for Ecommerce

Wednesday, June 1st 2011 at 4:35pm

In the most simplistic of terms, there are three steps to using social media for ecommerce (which you’ll often hear referred to as “inbound marketing” because you’re bringing “warm” leads to your online store rather than chasing down “cold” leads with traditional marketing like mailers):

  1. Get your customers to find you online.
  2. Get them to buy something (or at least leave their contact information).
  3. Measure your results.

Sounds simple enough, right?
