11. Use Tweetdeck. Recently acquired by Twitter, Tweetdeck allows you to create your own columns to file followers by the filters of your choice. Make a column for friends, one for media, one for people talking about the real estate market!

For the sake of creating a common starting point, let’s assume that you’ve got a Twitter account and have at least “tweeted” a few times (because some marketing person told you that you should).
