FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Boulder’s EasyChair Magazine honored as 6th fastest-growing company

Business snags prestigious Mercury 100 Award for private companies in Boulder and Broomfield Counties

Boulder, Colo., June 7, 2007EasyChair Magazine of Boulder County received top honors at the May 9th Mercury 100 Awards ceremony in Boulder as it was named the sixth fastest-growing private business in Boulder and Broomfield Counties for showing a revenue growth of 391% from 2004 to 2006.

“What a thrill to be recognized for not only our work so far, but also our potential,” says Lisa McAlister, publisher of the Boulder County edition of EasyChair. “This is a tough market to start a magazine because there are so many other good publications. But I’m glad we’re filling a niche with positive community news – and seeing the growth that we had hoped for. And our recent merger of EasyChair Jefferson County and EasyChair Boulder County has not only strengthened the publications by doubling distribution for advertisers to 100,000, but it also allows us to send a collective message of positive news along the Front Range.”

About the Mercury 100 Awards

The Mercury 100 Awards are presented by the Boulder County Business Report annually to private companies in Boulder and Broomfield Counties based on their percentage revenue growth over a two-year period.
